PROGRAMS

Artist Showcases - The Artist Services program provides opportunities for our member artists to showcase their work and talents, while connecting to the community. These include Art in the Window, and Carilion Regional Art Alley.

Artist Roundtables - Contact our Artist Services Director for new opportunities to connect and converse with your colleagues throughout the year.

Artist Venues - The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge lists venues to connect artists with area businesses, community organizations and cultural institutions.

Fiscal Agent - The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge will serve as a fiscal agent for individual artists to apply for grants (while allowing you to "borrow" our non-profit Tax ID).

Lawyers for Local Artists - The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge understand individual artists' needs for expert legal advice on a variety of topical issues and even day-to-day financial questions. To assist in these efforts, we provide a roster of local lawyers to get answers to your questions and at no cost.

Roanoke City Art Show - An annual juried exhibition for artists of all media. For more information, click here.

Grants for Artists Program (GAP) - The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge will offer five $1,000 grants for individual artists of all disciplines in the spring of 2010. Go here for more information, click here.
